Descripción del Trabajo:
In this project we chose a Spanish artist to be our mentor throughout
this project, this person could still be living, or could have already died. An
art piece had to be created that uses elements that our artist used in his/her
art. I chose Ouka Leele, a photographer who takes photos of people with random
things on their heads, and then adds very bright and unusual colors to the
photos. I took four photos, all relating in some way to the photos of Ouka
Leele. Along with art pieces, we had to write a paper (artist statement) on our
artist and art pieces that we created.

no buscan.
Reflexion:
Through this project I learned about my
artist Ouka Leele and the photography she creates. I learned about a new style
of photography where pictures are taken, then different colors are added, also,
before this project I had mostly taken pictures of nature and people doing
natural things, this project taught me that photography can be just weird ideas,
and weird ideas can look good! I was proud of the photos I took and how I was
able to work with them in Photoshop, and change the colors and make them look
strange. During this project we didn’t have a lot of in-class time to work on my
art, so it was hard to get the photos done because the models are in school and
that was the only time I could photograph them. However, this project was fun,
and interesting, and helped me to learn a lot about my artist and
photography.
