First Amendment Media Project
The First Amendment says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” The First Amendment Media Project used video to show the rights given by the First Amendment. Each group had to come up with, film, and edit a video showing what is included in the First Amendment, and then upload it to YouTube. Our group chose to focus on the freedom of speech for our video, and gave examples of both protected and unprotected speech.
